The beautiful duo behind On Record Au approached The Media Society in August 2023, asking, ‘where do we start?’.

Hayley and Ray were looking to launch their event audio book business, hiring gorgeous vintage style phones that allowed guests to record voice messages, which they then packaged into special memories that could be kept forever.

We started with logo and brand development, walking through the strategy process, and developing a logo using elements and colouring to best capture the brand vision. We had to make sure the brand was vibrant and fun, like the people behind it!

After logo concepts were finalised, we moved onto branded social media templates. As a small start-up business, we understand that social media management from the get-go might be a little out of budget, so we have developed a service where we provide fully editable social media templates for our clients. We take the time to consult on ‘content pillars’ before developing a suite of templates for clients to simply edit and post when required.

We also developed instructional signage and place mat concepts; an additional value-add service offered by On Record to easily style the phones at events. We assisted every step of the way, from copy, to design, to printing.

But we didn’t stop there - the next step was to shoot! The shoot aimed to show audiences why they need On Record at their events, along with ideas on how to style the product and all the fun they can have while leaving their special message! We opted for a studio shoot, created an extensive shot list involving multiple themes such as Hens parties, weddings, baby showers and birthdays, and worked with Hayley to organise styling items and props to make the most of the shoot. We are OBSESSED with the result.
